I know it’s probably a temporary thing while we still look for a future guy. And I know the other options weren’t so good. But I am not going to be able to talk myself into him being anything other than just good enough to keep us from a top pick

Yep. Once they moved on from Rodgers it was gonna be slim pickings in FA. The QB class in the draft isn’t much better this year….I was ready for the Tyrod Taylor show but I suppose Fields is a good low risk / potential higher reward roll of the dice. That said, I expect zero, and expect them to be drafting a QB top ten next year so we can start the process all over again….Groundhog Day indeed.

except there’s still talent on this team....and fields will win a game or two (also lose a game or two).  we’ll be just good enough to not get that top pick.
