Is it possible to have a job trigger a Nessus scan?

I"m looking for a similar solution. Were you able to resolve this?

Assuming you can start a Nessus scan from the command line, then yes,
you can do the same in Jenkins via an "Execute shell" or "Execute
Windows batch script" build step.

Hi,
you might also take a look at BDD-Security (http://www.continuumsecurity.net/bdd-intro.html). It offers the ability to perform nessus scans. It also offers a way to define false positives. I might use it in the next months, if you are interested in my results, please send me a message.
