Release not listed for download

Hi,

I have done a release of my plugin thinbackup the other day. On github
it is marked as release as expected
(https://github.com/jenkinsci/thin-backup-plugin). but in the
updatecenter of jenkins it is not available. is there something I need
to change in the release process?

on https://github.com/jenkinsci/thin-backup-plugin/commits/master there is no commits since 18days. How did you do the release?

Hi Adrien,
That is the point. I have done the release 1.7.6. but this release is
only shown on github but never released on jenkins update center.

To release 1.7.6 I have done the mvn release:prepare release:perform
command.

I ran into a similar issue while releasing build-metrics-plugin which haven't been released for a long time. I fixed it by bumping maven-release-plugin dependency, in https://github.com/jenkinsci/build-metrics-plugin/commit/3c3a1b07f4ef8d61bd86c329f859e8769dcd23f9

You will need to delete thinBackup-1.7.6 tag in github before retrying to release your plugin.
