Hi,

I have been using Jacoco from past 5-6 months. It was working perfectly without any issues.
Recently, last month onwards it started giving error that "Classes in bundled do no match with execution data. For report generation the same class files must be used as at runtime".
I have ensured that I used latest runtime and source code for the report generation, but still issue persists.

We generate exec file via -javaagent and uses ant target to merge exec/generate the Jacoco report, which was working until last month.
Only change we have done recently in our product is that JVM has moved from 1.7 to 1.8.
I have updated the environment with latest jacoco lib, but no luck yet.

Report is getting generated successfully which shows only partial coverage.
Looking forward for your help.

Thanks
Prasob

Hi Prasob,

this warning message is issued since JaCoCo 0.6.5. JaCoCo needs the
exact same class files for report generation than used at execution
time. There is a couple of reasons why the classes are different
(different compilers/settings, other agents or tools modifying classes).
See documentation for a detailed explanation:
http://www.eclemma.org/jacoco/trunk/doc/classids.html

Thanks Marc for the hints.
Will dig further to see if any of these are causing this issue.
Thanks a lot for the quick response.

Thanks
Prasob
