Jacoco agent classdumpdir creates duplicate classes

Hello,
I briefly used Jacoco agent in WebLogic 12c server with option of classdumpdir to generate class files. When I run the CLI tool to generate HTML report, I get duplicate class error. I checked the generated classes and I see that there are 3 classes with same name but ends with different name at the end.

I am sure 3 class files are generated becuase same class is present in 3 EAR files and all 3 EAR files are deployed in same server.

Is there any option to disable dumping duplicate classes?

Ho Anto,

if the dumped classes have a different suffix this means they are different (the suffix basically is a hash over the class file). There is no option to disable dumping of such classes because it would be no-deterministic which version gets dumped.

In your case I wonder why you don’t use the the EAR files to create a separate report (or separate report group) with each EAR?
