iTerm2 stealing cursor focus??

Scenario:
Multiple displays, iTerm “front” in display 2
Firefox focussed on “active” display 1
Issue Option-SPACE to open Alfred
type in needed that would have Alfred paste a code into the cursor position.
Alfred’s op-up vanishes, but iTerm2 gets the pasted data on display 2 not the “active” Display 1 and the focussed Firefox on Display 1

It seems (even on the active display, iTerm2 being at the back, firefox having the focuss in front) that the moment I activate Alfred, iTerm2 springs to the front :(=)

How to “fix” that??

Is it possible they both have the same keyboard shortcut? Check Prefs>Keys and Prefs>Profile>Keys>Configure Hotkey Window.
