Zinziber neesanum.
Seen at Walwand dam garden Lonavala on 21 july07.
Tuberous herb.50-100 cm high.
Stem leafy red pubescent.Leaves sessile.12-30 cm.long lanceolate dark green.
Flowers in long cyllindrical spikes, 15-30 cm long.
