First Installation of iHRIS

Dear All,
This is my first time of installing iHRIS alone. I had followed the steps on http://wiki.ihris.org, but when i type localhost/ihris/login the page went blank.

Are you sure  with the URL localhost/ihris/login?. If yes,  you can give the apache_tail output.

Dear Gerald!

From my understanding, I see these logs not connected to ihris, what command have you issued? (tail -f /var/log/apache2/error.log?). can you ensure the following

1. Are the values in config.values.php in the directory ...../pages/config.values.php or ...../pages/local/config.values.php set correctly?, especially the ihris database name, password and username

2. Have you used the installation guides relevant to your ubuntu version?, which ubuntu version do you have

If everything seems difficult, I can help to install through team viewer.

can you crosscheck the following variables in config.values.php
1. $i2ce_site_dsn
2. $i2ce_site_module_config

You should also check you site database to be sure the the database
name, user and password in the config.values.php file are the same as
when you created the database with mysql.

http://localhost/manage is displaying. Please find the attached view
of my server.

Please what is the next step because it is asking me to redirect it for update.

Dear Halim,

It appears that you were trying to install both ihris-manage and
ihris-qualify at the same time if I read your log file correctly.
Also, I see you are using the 4.1.9 version of iHRIS as well. The
Debian package is simpler for first time installation and you can try
it with the attached guide.

Can you share the guideline you were using to install the application?

Also, have you created your database for the site and pointed your
config.values.php file to it? This is a common error when starting
installation of ihris.

Dear Halim,

I think you should delete what you have done so far and start all over
again. I guess there may be a little typo error that is causing the
problem especially if you're using the AZERTY keyboard.

Also, you cannot install ihris-manage without downloading the
repository. Try the guidelines I sent you.

You can accomplish the same by running these commands in the same order:

gunzip /build/php5-0LI9sl/php5-5.5.9+dfsg/pear-build-download/uuid-1.0.4.tgz

then do 

sudo pecl install /build/php5-0LI9sl/php5-5.5.9+dfsg/pear-build-download/uuid-1.0.4.tar

 but i received this error :
