Just located a dark morph RUFF of of amana and 965 intersection. Hike down by railroad tracks. It's working the mudflats close to shore.

Dawn,  I'm just guessing here but from the intersection of Amana Rd and Hwy 965 north of North Liberty, there is a set of railroad tracks.  In past years, I've walked south along those tracks to get a look at birds along the water's edge.  I've marked that walk in red on this image.  But, again, I'm just guessing about this.

Bird has moved further to the left, nearer to the bridge. Best views are by hiking down to the waters edge and walking left.
