When photos have XYZ 'mosaic' translation parameters they are mapped to a flat plane. This plane is infinitely wide and high, which appears to us to be 180x180° wide and high.
Unless you have a development snapshot, Hugin puts this plane directly front middle of the panorama canvas, the result is that photos with XYZ parameters get cropped at ±90° left and right, since any further and they don't map to this plane.
So you have to rotate your panorama so the nadir is in the middle, or try a snapshot that lets you put this mosaic plane anywhere you like.
