Testing the PTT output jack

How can I test the PTT line and make sure it's working correctly? My PA100D stopped outputting RF, but the HL2 by itself is working normally. Thanks!

oh my,

take a 2k2 resistor and connect

+12 Volt --- resistor --- mA meter --- PTT out
(RCA jack center pin)

and see whether you see no current during RX
and about 5 mA during TX. You can also directly
insert the mA meter in the PTT line from the PA
to the PTTOUT

My PA100D clone suddenly stopped outputting RF yesterday, although the HL2 is working normally.   PTT from the HL2 is ok since i have an intermediate relay that is working.  I am delving into the Juma schematics now and will begin troubleshooting; however, if anyone has had the same problem with a recommended solution I would sure appreciate it!
