Hi Steve, I'm Nikos SV9CVJ, I have the Hermes Lite 2 and use Thetis-v2.10.3.14 x64-HL2 (MI0BOT) software and FW v7.4.2 Protocol 1. I made a box to put everything inside, Hermes, mini PC, display and power supply, it works very well as stand alone transceiver ,the only problem I have is in CW mode,  I don't use any other boards like the + plus or external keyer, I want to work with the Thetis keyer but the side tone has a delay with the result that it is impossible to work CW in this way.                                                                                I have no knowledge of electronics or programming, and therefore I ask for your help if you have any solution to suggest for this, maybe a simple modification to Hermes will fix this problem which will help many radio amateurs.

Thank you Nikos SV9CVJ

Look at this:

https://github.com/softerhardware/CWKeyer

If you want a low-latency side tone, you need an "external" keyer and mix the side tone
from the keyer with RX audio.

There are also extension boards which add an audio codec to the HL2, these also
offer a low-latency side tone.
