Hello,

Is there a way, Hazelcast 3.1.4 support Priority Queue implementation. Just a Simple Queue Does not help since in networking environment, we need to send priority Messages immediately to the receiver. I guess the Hazelcast's Priority Queue can adopt the java compareTo() acceptance pattern, where in an Object to be placed in the priority Queue can be
first compared based on Comparable Interface.

regards,
Ankur Soni.

Hello,

We plan to add Priority Queue implementation for later releases (3.3)
But you can create your own distributed data structure using Hazelcast SPI.
I have tried to implement PriorityQueue with using SPI, you can check it out here:

It is not a prod-ready implementation, it was just a proof-of-concept but would give you idea.

Hi al!

Its 3.4.2 now. Any news about PriorityQueues? Couldn't find anything in docs so far :(

Thanks!

Hi,
Are you planning on adding support for priority queues in the near future?

Thanks!
