Electronic version was out much earlier. ARRL is claiming "supply
chain" issues ... which may well be true.
For those that don't know, League members can get all 4 ARRL
periodicals electronically - QST, QEX, National Contest Journal, On
The Air. You can opt for paper versions of QST *or* OTA or you can
opt-out of paper entirely. The e-versions are not PDF (or if they
are, I just don't know how to get them out of the app) but they do
have links in them as if it's 2022 or something. And they are
figuring out that they can put more content in there, like proper
Field Day results instead of just the aggregated COVID Club scores.
I will avoid speculating as to whether QST+QEX+NCJ+OTA equals what was
once found in QST alone ...
ARRL has warts, to be sure, but if you plan to be in this hobby in 5
years, you need to be a member. Discount memberships for under-21
hams.
