Hi, No strong thoughts on the matter, I still potter along with my
three hives, my 1977 Jones honey extractor, and the useful remnants of
the 1970/1980s small commercial operation we ran in the Valley.
However, going dormant does not seem to be an option and starting up now
unlikely. The two options then are either amalgamate or close down
completely. In both options there is the question of the funds, these
belong to all of us. Closing down is the easy one, we sell up, combine
funds and donate; maybe to an NSBA project, food bank, or whatever we
choose. Amalgamating could be messy. What to do with the extractors, the
library (?), the funds etc. Possibly offer extractors etc for sale
within current group first, maybe donate funds, and amalgamate. As I
said above. I am self sufficient so will go along with the general
decision. Stan
