I need a Falcone clutch pack.
I sent a thorough e-mail and pictures to Guzzi Retro early this week.
No response at all.
Anyone have recent dealing with them and know why they may be AWOL?
Anyone dealt with Valenti recently?
Advise a better vendor?

I just got stuff from them last week and service was excellent. They might be shut down for summer vacation. I saw a notice from my Italian book seller that they would be shut down.

My son in London needed clutch parts for his v7. They were on back order in the UK and Italy on holiday for a month. I got his parts here in New Zealand. So Guzzi parts from Italy to London via NZ - 24,000 mile detour (and 35% cheaper!).

Hi I had a seat for an Eldorado sent over this week from Retro they mentioned that they were on holiday from 6th to 27th August. I have bought a clutch pack from Valentine some years ago.

I know about the FERRAGOSTO thing where they take vacation for the month
of August. But I sent my parts request message out on July 26 and still
haven't heard a peep. Something is amiss. I'll try a different
e-address of mine and also a direct phone call. I'll be there in
September and can carry the parts home, but I want to make sure they
have stock and hold the parts I request.

Sometimes, and for no apparent reason, it does take weeks to get a reply from Marco at Moto Retro.
It did happen to me.
One can only assume your mail has ended up in their junk folder?

Just had a parcel from Valenti today. Waited 5 weeks for an oversized valve guide. Presumably his machine shop let him down? Eventually cancelled the guide and asked for the rest of the order which he sent quite promptly. Sometimes they answer the same day, sometimes a week or you hear nothing. I think its mostly the 'Italian system' as my Italian mate says.
