Consume Google transit for mobile app

We are creating a mobile app to display realtime bus arrival information. We have the GTFS and GTFS - RT feed uploaded to Google. How can we further get the Google Transit API to be used within the app. Is there another way to get Google transit information combined with realtime to consume within the app

Fleshing this out a little more: There are a few agencies and gov. entities which aggregate and integrate their data on their own stack, i.e. outside of what Google is doing, This means building out a web service (web API) with trip planning and other user facing functionality. This is based on vendor provided trip planning software, or building on open source code.
