In latest version of FreeCAD .17, installing new workbench is quite easy.
Got to "Tools" from menu, and click on "Addon manager" from drop down. It will open a new window, which will fetch list of workbenches from Internet.
Click on desired workbench, and hit "Install/Update".
Restart FreeCAD.
