One instance of RSS feed not loading

Hello there,

I have tried this feed API using the "control" example with much excitement and satisfaction but I just got into an rss feed that is not loading and I would like some help in understanding why:

This is the link for the xml feed: http://fearonline.aeriagames.com/news/feed, which I just add to ethe api script. Is it a wrong formatted feed for the API?

If I had to guess, the problem is the redirect. I.e., when I went to that URL you provided, I was automatically redirected to a form which asked for my age before it would allow me to view the feed. If that redirect is sent to Google's servers as they attempt to crawl the feed, it will never work.

Yeah, once you fill out the age form, the site sets a cookie on your machine that won't expire for a year. (It's age_gated_bday if you look it up in the browser.) Once that is set, it won't present the redirect. But since Google's crawler doesn't do forms or cookies, it's going to run into that form every time it tries to crawl the feed. If you have control of the site, the solution would be to detect Google's crawler (you'd have to look up the UA string in the access logs) and not send the redirect.
