I’m homing in on my EFI tuning, it’s running great so now I’m worrying about little details.

When looking through Tunerpro there are like a thousand settings, scalars, flags, tables. Some make sense, others, well heck if I know.

Is there anywhere these parameters are described? Or is it trial and error?

Like there is a scalar, DGD = injector flow. It’s set at 64.9 lbs / hr. That doesn’t match the flow rate I expect. Does anyone know why it’s 64.9? Shouldn’t it be 80lbs / hr?

Thanks

Keith

Keith,
The documentation on the EBL is not the best admittedly, Its like you
are suppose to know all these acronyms already.

TunerPro has an editable Help (Parameter Comments) for each parameter.
Ken Henderson added some additional info to the Help system a number of
years ago.  I've edited Ken's to clarify a few things in my words. I'm
assuming you don't have that file (XDF) so I am sending my version of
KenH's file.

So for the DGD it's used for the Corvette digital dash, so its not
applicable to our application.

There might be better XDF files in the files area of the Google Group.

You know 5%, in the over 10 years I've had EFI I'm up to maybe 10%,
Randy Van Winkle knows the most.  RobR is the only one that knows his
system.

There is an active thread on the thirdgen.org forum called Tuning with
the EBL, but it's 98 pages long in one thread alone.  RobR is active on
there and you can pick up some info on how it works. There are quite a
number of other threads on the EBL in there. But you have to read
through a lot of wrong info posted and fluff to find the real info.

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/diy-prom/356351-tuning-ebl.html

If you find a document that covers the EBL, let us know!

I'm pretty sure the Injector Correction Multiplier is just for mileage. Don't remember where heard that.

And here is a table of TunerPro parameters. Open it in TunerPro and the tooltips will tell you most parameters do; unfortunately there is not one for Injector Correction Multiplier.  .http://gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/showthread.php?3337-Tuner-Pro-RT-Tables-explained
