Dear All
I hope my email finds you well.
I have results for glycans were analyzed on ESI mass spectrometry, the results are in (.txt) format.
I need to deisotope (deconvolute) the spectra.
I would like to use GlycResoft but unfortunately I don not know how to use it from scratch. My bioinformatics background is not strong.
Would it be possible to get some halp fromyou?

Thank you in advance

Hello,

I might be able to help. GlycReSoft requires a temporal dimension to work correctly. Does your experiment have anything like a chromatographic separation step? Without one, the software won't be able to accurately estimate confidence.

Thank you,
Joshua Klein

Dear Joshua
Thank you so much for your email. I really appreciate your quick response.
I did not do chromatographic separations because I did not get the expected peaks like in the literature. So I injected my samples directly into an ESI triple quadrupole mass spectrometry.
I study glycans released by the PNGase F enzyme.
I'm sending you the results of one of my samples in (txt) format and the spectrum generated by GlycoWorkbench for the same sample.
I hope this could be useful.

Thank you again for your kind support.

Best regards

Sahar

Thank you for clarifying. GlycReSoft wasn't designed for this kind of data. GlycoWorkbench might help you annotate it. Unfortunately I do not have time right now to write a one-off analysis script.
