Beware of what looks like a biky on the side of the road. It is Police with a speed camera build in to their helmet. Also a silver VW takes long distance photos of you (if you speed) in both directions. They book 600 people in 4 hours. A policeman sits inside the car for 12 hours shifts to avoid vandalism.

Now that State government admitted last year that speeding fine *were*
revenue raising and they officially put it in the budget - I think the
gloves are now off. Speed cameras everywhere.
While it does seem pretty full-on, I have to admit, for me I am
obeying the speed limit a lot better!

True, I also obey the speed limit law. It's just hard to keep up. In one kilometer the signs change 4 times.
I can no longer focus on good driving. I now have to focus on signs and entrapment.

I'm with you Robert,  there's definitely some entrapment going on

There needs to be standardization of speed limits to 20kph intervals - 20,40, 60,80, 100, 120.

I agree with Robert, you end up focused on trivial changes in limits the whole time.
