Now running latest Sequoia on M3 MB Aiir
Fresco 4.0.1 installed, Qsynth 0.9.1 installed
Midi on Fresco. 4.0.1 still silent; source title appears in the Midi playback window
and midi player appears to be active (but no sound).
As before, Fresco 3.3.0 pulsed mini earn started from Terminal.
Same settings used for both versions. Looking for a solution...
TIA,
Stan

Aloha.

I had similar problems until I compiled qsynth-1.0.3 from source.  That has worked on more than one ARM computer, for me.

Probably should offer a bit more.

Soundfont: /opt/local/share/sounds/sf2/GeneralUser_GS_v1.471.sf2

FB: 3.3.0

Sequoia 15.3.2

Just checked and it still works.

Ahh… I think the FB: 3.3.0 is the difference. That version works fine for me also. (If it ain’t broke…)

BTW, cut my teeth on an IBM 1620 many years ago. How things have changed!

Thanks much for the reply.

Glad to hear it.  I started with an IBM 370.
