Hi all,

I have a problem concerning the timing of pause modules (and I also have
the strong feeling that this was discussed before, but could not find
it, sorry).

The following pause module does not work as intended:

pause: wait 180 mins relative to
last(survey_unit_sessions[survey_unit_sessions$position == 210,]$created)

(position 210 is an email module)

Surprisingly, log of user activity showed me that the next module of the
run is entered not 180, but 190 minutes after the last e-mail was created.

So, I can fix this by reducing the pause time (using 170 minutes
instead), but I am wondering what I did wrong?

Thanks for your help and kind regards,

Selina

Hi Selina,

the formr cron job only runs every 10 minutes. You can see in your log at which exact times it runs for your e.g. 9:01 or 9:02. Then you can make it so, that the expiry hits closest to your desired time.
I know this is annoying, but it's part of the current architecture of formr. It's part of the planned overhaul.

Best,

Ruben
