firebase_messaging - Big Query

HI All!

I need to find FCM data in my big query account. I founded  delivery messages data but i couldnt find "opens" . The console show opened Messages number, so i guess the number also exist in BQ.

I have this events:

1	MISMATCH_SENDER_ID
2	MISSING_REGISTRATIONS
3	MESSAGE_RECEIVED_INTERNAL_ERROR
4	MESSAGE_DELAYED_DOZE
5	INVALID_PARAMETERS
6	MESSAGE_ACCEPTED
7	MESSAGE_DELIVERED
8	MESSAGE_EXPIRED
9	UNAUTHORIZED_REGISTRATION
10	INVALID_REGISTRATION
11	MESSAGE_DELIVERED_ON_RECONNECT

I have the same problem as you, 

I search the notification data through BigQuery

about 4,500,000 message are "MESSAGE_DELIVERED",    but have NO  impression or opens

If you find the cause of the problem, please tell me, thx

You can find these data in your 'standard' tables. BQ collects some events automatically. You can read about it here: https://support.google.com/firebase/answer/6317485?hl=en&ref_topic=6317484 

The event that you should be interested in is 'notification_open':

iOS needs some addiotinal configuración?

I don't think so (but i'm not sure) - iOS always has some complicated processes and restrictions. Probably it is impossible to process such data, at leat fot that moment.

Notifications composer and the FCM APIs:

• Sends — The data message or notification message has been enqueued for delivery or has been successfully passed to a third-party service like APNs for delivery. See lifetime of a message for more information.
• Received (available only on Android devices) — The data message or notification message has been received by the app. This data is available when the receiving Android device has FCM SDK 18.0.1 or higher installed.
• Impressions (available only for notification messages on Android devices) — The display notification has been displayed on the device while the app is in the background.
• Opens — The user opened the notification message. Reported only for notifications received when the app is in the background.

Thank you for your email. Based on the information you provided and the current date of March 24, 2023, I can confirm that the API does not support the "Opens" event.
