Dear Fellow Upper School Administrators,

We had a fantastic retreat this past Friday. We had a bountiful exchange of information on admissions, which emphasis on international admissions.

The good people at The Community School of Naples have agreed to host our spring retreat. This will occur Jan 23-24 at CSN. The theme will be "Digital Literary." You are invited to bring the Technology Director, Librarian, Media Specialist, or 21st Century Education Specialist of your choice.

Looking ahead... Shorecrest will host in the Fall of 2014, Carrollwood Day School will host in Spring 2015, and Tampa Prep will host in the Fall of 2015.

In the meantime, please let me know if you need someone to be added to our list. Also, please feel free to use this list to post discussion questions.

Dear Randy,

Thank you for hosting the retreat, it was great to meet everyone. I look forward to communicating with this group in the years to come.

Regarding the spring retreat, I happened to meet our Apple account executive, Betsy Marshall. Betsy offered to come to the retreat and talk to us about the positives of a one to one school, iPads in the classroom, and any other subjects that we thought relevant. Obviously, being an Apple employee, Betsy would put a different spin on things.

Please let me know your thoughts and I will confirm the date with Betsy.
