E. T. Smith 78 rpm records of Sacred Harp

[David Warren Steel]

Someone at our university has come up with two 78 rpm records dated 11/13/1954 on the Scott label, based in Northport, Alabama. I don't know if they are single or double sided, but the photos show the tunes LAWRENCEBURG and ROCKY ROAD. The artists are E. T. Smith and Sons.
Earl T. Smith was the father of the late Toney E. Smith of Tuscaloosa, so I expect Toney was one of the sons on the records.
Does anyone know any more about these recordings?
