The temptation to theorize about things that are fundamentally empirical

Why are so many geniuses-wannabe (sorry: people) so tempted to do empty theorizations on the internet about things that are fundamentally empirical ? They keep bambling about F=ma, eigenvalues eigenvectors, measurements, chemicals coming together to form life, bla-bla. Did they ever try to test all these hallucinations empirically ? Or are they afraid that when they will do it empirically, they will see that F is not ma, but is 1.112312ma ? So then their entire theorization goes down the drain. How is this temptation explained ? Do they feel geniuses by doing this ? Does this replace the lack of woman in their life ?

Cosmin, if it's all a sim as physicist in the UK, University of Portsmouth, Melvin Vopson publishes; then what you say reminds me of the ancient Hindu joke of the Sadhu and the Elephant. Where the Sadhu was speaking to the Emperor of India, during a parade,  saying that "all is Maya, all is Illusion." One of the Emperor's elphants broke free of his handler, during the parade and charged the Emperor's ensamble. While running, the Emperor asked the Sadhu, "If all is illusion why then are you running with us?" The Sadhu replied, "This too, my Emperor, is an illusion!" The joke is not one thats sets us rolling in the aisles with laughter, but it is illustrative of physics versus philosophy. If it's a sim, consider me the janitor. I just mop the restroom floors, supply toilet paper, make sure the urinals flush, and screw in the LED lightbulbs. If we measure inside the sim we are in, let's just measure.

I don't know. But I do know that there are more empty theorizations about consciousness than about every other topic put together, and they're all empty because every consciousness theory is as good (or as bad) as another, none of them will ever be able to be proved or disproved.

I've even heard rumors there are racist incel crackpots on the internet who just want to navel gaze and don't want to talk about anything except consciousness, and of course the evil nature of women, especially black women. But it's hard to believe anybody could be that stupid, or that despicable.

@John. What do you mean theories of consciousness cannot be proved ? I told many times here: the theory of consciousness predicts that you are eternal. So who is stopping you from proving it ?

Let me jump pver the other reply. What you seem to be promoting is Dr. Bernardo Kastrup's Analytical Idealism. I am not sure if the man is correct. The white light thing when ya croak seems typical m but disinteresting to me anyways. But, maybe we're all jsut supposed to support the computer function of the Universe?

I'm not promoting anyone's anything. I'm just speaking the obvious. But to see the obvious you need to have love in your life, otherwise you will use all your energy in survival strategies to impress females. As such, if females are impressed by materialism, you will become a hard core materialist just to get that tiny little bit of sex once per decade.

Now, I am playing the game as if its not Maya but reality or trueness. A centimeter is a centimeter, an ohm is an ohm, a watt is a watt, a roentgen, a roentgen. If we are a sim, say as Professor Vopson at Portsmouth University in the UK has proposed, we;d need ways to infer this that actually work in this sim, eh? 



On the other hand another guy I follow is astrophysicist Vazza, saying its impossible that its a sim! Here is his latests- 

Vazza had come up with this in 2020-which I rather like. It has made me wonder if the purpose of our species is to build a giant asprin for a giant headache?
