The following is an interesting interview with Bill Gates, he was once the richest man in the world and would still be if he hadn't already given away hundreds of billions of dollars, he recently announced he would accelerate his philanthropy so that in 20 years he will have given away over 99% of his fortune. He said that when he dies people will say a great number of things about him but one thing they won't say is that he died rich. He also commented that the current richest man in the world, Elon Musk, was cutting vaccination aid for poor foreign children to save money, and that stinginess would result in millions of children dying unnecessarily. And the amount of money saved would only be a rounding error compared with the military budget. Gates said:

 "The richest man in the world killing the poorest children in the world is not a pretty picture."

To say Musk is cutting spending on foreign aid to save money leaves hanging the question for whom the money is saved.  I think it's for billionaires who otherwise would need to pay it in taxes.
