Nobel Prize winning AI scientist Geoffrey Hinton thinks that today's AIs are already conscious, and I think he's right. He also thinks that it's only a matter of time before AIs take over the world, I think he's right about that too.

FWIW, expect for a few notable exeptions, I didn't discover anything new.  It was all known to adepts in Ancient India. AG
