Some say Trump wants to conquer Greenland because it has deposits of Rare Earth metals but I don't buy that explanation, I don't think Trump knows the difference between neodymium and dysprosium. I think there is a much simpler explanation, and I don't mean "simple" in a good way. Trump likes big things and on a map Greenland looks big. On a world map that uses Mercator Projection, which is probably the only sort of map Trump has ever seen, due to the inevitable distortion caused by trying to map a spherical  surface onto a flat surface, Greenland looks as large as Africa. But in reality Africa is 14.5 times larger.

By the way, in addition to going to war with Denmark, we may also be going to war with Panama. Trump says he wants to renege on the 1999 treaty giving control of the Panama Canal to the Panamanians. And protesters in Panama are already burning Trump in effigy, and he won't even become president for another month. Trump is an agent of chaos,  and because of that the chances of the human race surviving the singularity are smaller today than they were before November 3.

I would favor buying Greenland if Denmark wants to sell. And nothing wrong with Canada as our 51st state if the Canadians are willing. What I strongly oppose is Trump's intent to maximize oil drilling. It's like he never heard of, or believes in human caused global warming and the necessity to cease burning fossil fuels. In four years he can, and likely will do immense damage in various spheres of significance. AG

I think it would be better for the us to dump Texas on the poor mexcans and let them handle that problem.
Also giving Alaska to Canada would make excellent sense since then the us would be spared a shared border with Putiniztan.
Lots of problems solved.
Right?
