It was no landslide

Trump claims his election was a landslide and that boast was utterly predictable, but it wasn't a landslide; unlike his 2016 victory he did get a plurality, but he didn't get a majority, the final results show that he only got 49.997 percent of the popular vote. 

Richard Nixon had a real landslide in 1972, he got 60.7% of the popular vote; that was the first year I voted for president, and I was not part of that 60.7%.
