Trump slashes National Science Foundation budget by 57%

The following article is from the June 5, 2025 issue of the journal Nature, and bear in mind the national science foundation is the premier scientific research organization in the USA. The article says "it would spell the end of any pretence that the US leads the world in science and technology, handing that position to China”. Is this really going to make America great again during the era of Singularity?  Oh well, at least we won't have to face the horrors of Hunter Biden's laptop, Hillary Clinton's email server, or transsexual men in women's sports. And we have the Gulf of America too!
