This is really stupid even by the very low standards of the Trump administration

Two hours before the first plane reached its target in Yemen, a raid that was supposed to be a surprise, Trump's imbecilic cabinet used an unsecured app to have a group chat about it THAT INCLUDED A REPORTER FROM ATLANTIC MAGAZINE!  The following is just some of the information that was revealed, information that the enemy would find very very interesting and would've put American pilots in greater danger:

“TIME NOW (1144et): Weather is FAVORABLE. Just CONFIRMED w/CENTCOM we are a GO for mission launch"

“1215et: F-18s LAUNCH (1st strike package)”

“1345: ‘Trigger Based’ F-18 1st Strike Window Starts (Target Terrorist is @ his Known Location so SHOULD BE ON TIME – also, Strike Drones Launch (MQ-9s)”

"1400: “The first target – their top missile guy – we had positive ID of him walking into his girlfriend’s building and it’s now collapsed,”

“1410: More F-18s LAUNCH (2nd strike package)”

“1415: Strike Drones on Target (THIS IS WHEN THE FIRST BOMBS WILL DEFINITELY DROP, pending earlier ‘Trigger Based’ targets)”

“1536 F-18 2nd Strike Starts – also, first sea-based Tomahawks launched. MORE TO FOLLOW (per timeline) We are currently clean on OPSEC”

OPSEC means "operational security", at that point it was far too late to be worrying about security, and it is very clear that they were NOT clean on that.

If you look at who was on the chat chain it is even more imbecilic, if that's possible.  Nobody on the chat needed any the specificity of times, weapons, and targets.  And who wasn't on the chat?...any military person!

And Trump's real estate lawyer and now Trump's special envoy to Russia, Steve Witkoff, participated in that chat and was in Russia at the time of the chat talking to Vladimir Putin and publicly calling him a "great leader". He met with Putin about 1:30 AM local time and that 24 minutes past midnight local time CIA director John Ratcliffe (who had no need to be on a chat about the operational details of an air raid that was supposed to be a surprise attack) disclose the name of an ACTIVE  CIA OFFICER!

And Trump just imposed a new tariff on cars not made in the United States, and on auto parts, even if those parts are used to assemble cars that ARE made in the United States. So now cars are going to be 25% more expensive, perhaps more because it will totally disrupt the supply chain, but hey, he gave us the "Gulf of America", so I guess it all evens out.
