Mistaken identity can wrongly identify the actual intellect of one group of rugged individuals with awakened consciousness to a group-thinking “collection” of “androids” with un-awakened consciousness. It attempts to undermine evidence for the former, when in fact the “group” referred to is the latter. Scientific studies have shown that mistaken identity is a common social phenomenon, WAMP-the-Ingrate, (defined elsewhere below) is particularly resolute in wrongly believing that their identification as the “intellectual elite” is ceaselessly correct. This is conspicuously important when dealing with the ethos of the once predominantly Augustinian West in general (Non-Pagan) and once principally Puritan America in particular (product of “Two Great Awakenings”).
So, the question here should be rephrased as: Are European PAGANS (now, the products of CopenPagan Misinterpretation) better than American PAGANS? Are European NON-PAGANS smarter than American NON-PAGANS? That requires detailed definitions of paganism and non-paganism which will be very tedious and protracted for this forum. To be brief, pagan is pan-Gaia-n, earth worshippers where aseity and hence divinity begins with dead-matter. That takes different forms, animism, materialism, polytheism (one Culture alone has 330 million deities), pantheism, panentheism etc. Non-paganism is not the antonym of these. The importance of “stable laws” of Nature (sciences) is very relevant here.
