A Hypersonic scramjet might someday be useful in the first stage of a vehicle to put satellites into orbit, but as a weapon of war it's pretty useless. I hate to disillusion you but you  really need to stop believing everything the Russians and the Chinese say because, believe it or not, sometimes they say things that aren't true and are just propaganda.

Yeah yeah, nobody does anything because they think it's the right thing to do, they only do things if somebody bribed them to do it, except of course for your right wing fascist friends, they only do things for the most noble of reasons.

Also, if you see yourself as the great moralist and supporter of the Dem party (The good guys), Explain?

You guys don't get to decide who is for or against weapons systems when, it is your Guy performing The Policy. 

Don is long gone, and Joe could have kiboshed it any time his progressive heart desired.
