Hi Everyone

Just managed to do an upgrade straight from an *old* version to 3.0.4 and everything is working really well apart from the following logs coming in every 10s.

==> daemon.log <==
Dec 11 09:54:52 abd2-eq1-gsve-san-01 fcoemon: error 111 Connection refused
Dec 11 09:54:52 abd2-eq1-gsve-san-01 fcoemon: Failed to connect to lldpad
Dec 11 09:55:02 abd2-eq1-gsve-san-01 fcoemon: error 111 Connection refused
Dec 11 09:55:02 abd2-eq1-gsve-san-01 fcoemon: Failed to connect to lldpad
Dec 11 09:55:12 abd2-eq1-gsve-san-01 fcoemon: error 111 Connection refused
Dec 11 09:55:12 abd2-eq1-gsve-san-01 fcoemon: Failed to connect to lldpad

Is there something that I've missed in the upgrade process?

Regards

Updating your existing configuration is always a manual process
unfortunately. In newer versions, lldpad is started in a separate
rc/init script; edit your '/etc/rc.conf' and add this:
rc.lldpad_enable=YES

New default file looks like this:
https://github.com/quantum/esos/blob/3.x.x/etc/rc.conf

Or if you don't need lldpad running, probably safe to ignore log
messages from fcoemon.

Thanks Marc,

I've opted to ignore at the moment!
