Hello,

Here is our article in case anyone missed it but is interested

http://insights.uksg.org/articles/10.1629/uksg.277/

Question I have - is anyone storing or planning to store acceptance emails in EPrints rather than just the date? Please let me know if you are interested in this or already doing.

Many thanks

Valerie

Hi Valerie

Thanks for this.

Re storing acceptance emails, as the advice I had last year from HEFCE was that this was not required, the decision here at SGUL we are not asking for them or going to store them

https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A2=ind1508&L=UKCORR-DISCUSSION&F=&S=&X=47398E7FBD785D3181&Y=jesmith%40sgul.ac.uk&P=29420

If the HEFCE position changed, then we'd review this of course.

thanks
Jennifer

Hi Valerie,
We deposit the letter of acceptance as part of the research output record and restrict access to repository administrators only.

We also record the date of acceptance in the RIOXX date accepted field.

Thanks Jennifer. It is not required but some sites are evidencing anyway.
