The display of results from the n-grams lookup server has had some
tweaks. They are:
- the n-gram counts are now right-justified, making it a little easier
to compare the counts;
- when getting the counts for two or more different terms, the
percentages for each term are now included. (Note that this does not
apply to the options of automatically-generated lists of terms.)

At present these changes are only available at the esrdg.org site.
I'll copy them to the other servers eventually.

Cheers

Jim

Of course I meant the "edrdg.org" server. The URLs are:
https://www.edrdg.org/~jwb/ngramcounts.html - Google n-grams
https://www.edrdg.org/~jwb/ngramcountswww.html - KM n-grams

The percentages are definitely a useful feature but could they be made optional (with a checkbox)? N-gram lookups aren't necessarily variations on the same term (i.e. we don't always want to compare the frequency of each term against all the others).

Thanks

I failed to mention that you can turn the percentage display off - it's the checkbox st the bottom of the list.

I could reverse the setting and have them only display when requested. Let's see what others think.

Ah, stupid me forgot to refresh the page, so the checkbox hadn't appeared.

I'd prefer to have the percentages not displayed by default but it's not a big issue.
