I have no NoCoda param so the default should be that feature is off. Here are my picker params.

Are you running pick_ew with "NoCoda 1" ? If so, pick_ew spits out the pick without waiting to see how long its coda is. And then the coda would be produced by coda_aav/coda_dur.
I can't quite remember the logic in coda_dur (that was a decade ago), but it makes sense that it would ignomre the minimum coda length and spit out any duration coda for a pick it was working on, rather than have a coda-less pick floating around, slowing down eqassemble with "waiting for coda" mode.

I'm running earthworm 7.10 on a linux box with the usual pick_ew/binder/eqproc. We're getting coda picks that are shorter than the MinCodaLen param (aka i9). Ours is set to 3 but you can see in the attached image from our duty review page that we're getting coda's less than that (total length in the plot is 64s so each minor tick is 1 s). I thought picks were supposed to be thrown out if the coda pick is less than i9 and yet it clearly is not. Does anyone know why this might happen?
