With the increase in numbers of children joining our schools from overseas with very little English, practitioners in schools are asking how best to proceed.  Should they first focus on teaching the children English or is there another approach?

Thanks Gordon! Couldn't agree more! You may remember that, when we celebrated the launch of your website, we stole (we call it tweaking!) your monsters idea and produced another version:
That's the good thing about these games: they encourage children and teachers to work (and have fun) together making more versions to share with everyone and so it goes on and on. One thing that makes me sad is that teachers are now so under stress they no longer have so much creative time to work together to devise new activities.
