Here is what PST says about E-Prime 2 at
https://www.pstnet.com/eprimecompare.cfm : "Play several different
audio formats, including MP3 and WMA" (I had to search pretty hard to
find that, did not find it in the obvious places).
If I had to troubleshoot this, I would try using some example .wav files
instead of .mp3 to see if that made a difference (note that the SoundRT
example that comes with E-Prime still uses .wav files). I would also
eliminate the SlideSoundIn for testing. Actually, I would probably
start with the SoundRT example, which I know works, and then
incrementally build that up toward my experiment program, testing it at
each step along the way until I could see where it breaks.
