Hi all,

I'm moving from DSpace 4 on a RHEL 6 instance to DSpace 6 on an Amazon Linux 2 environment.

What steps do I need to take to migrate my Solr index and stats to the new environment?

I have tried copying the [dspace]/solr/statistics/data to the new server and running index-discovery script. When I hit the Show Statistical Information button, I get:

"No statistical information could be retrieved. Please try again later."

Are there some crucial steps I'm missing? Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Gary

Dear Gary,

you can look at this script:

https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/blob/master/dspace-api/src/main/java/org/dspace/util/SolrUpgradePre6xStatistics.java

this should runn on Statistics records in solr and replace the ID the
corresponding UUID;
you can findo more info on how to run the script here:

https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC6x/SOLR+Statistics+Maintenance#SOLRStatisticsMaintenance-UpgradeLegacyDSpaceObjectIdentifiers(pre-6xstatistics)toDSpace6xUUIDIdentifiers

regards
Riccardo
