Connectivity Matrix from Database Same Across Groups?

Hi all,

I was creating connectivity matrices for three groups in my study using their databases. However, when I produced the connectivity matrices for these groups they ended up being exactly the same as one another. I looked at other databases I've made and they differed from these, but the three databases from this study are exactly the same. Any idea as to why that could be? And is there a better way for me to compare connectivity matrices between these groups?

Thank you,

Ivan

Could you elaborate more about how you generate the connectivity
matrices? (e.g. the command line you used and the log output).

BTW, to generate a connectivity matrix, you may need to use an
individual's FIB file, not the database, because all databases are
based on the HCP1065 template, which is going to give you identical
whole brain tractography and thus the same "connectivity matrix."

Moreover, I would recommend using autotrack results to generate
tract-to-region connectivity matrix instead of using whole brain
tractography to derive connectivity matrix.

Best regards,
Frank

Dr. Yeh,

I did it via gui, I created the database files separately for each group via step C1 and opened them under Step T3. I went Fiber Tracking under Step Td3>Tracts>connectivity matrix>FreeSurferDKT_Cortical>Recalculate>Save connectogram
Here is my command history:

open_fib

database.dz

set_zoom

0.5

run_tracking

whole_brain

I created the database files separately for each group via step C1 and opened them under Step T3. I went Fiber Tracking under Step Td3>Tracts>connectivity matrix>FreeSurferDKT_Cortical>Recalculate>Save connectogram

I did this process for each database of the 3 groups and they all had the exact same numbers
