Hello,

I am working on tract filtering using the dTOR-985 connectome in DSI Studio. Specifically, I am selecting streamlines that intersect DBS VTAs and then examining their cortical/subcortical endpoints.

Our VTAs are in MNI space 152 (matching the template used in the dTOR workspace), and I would like to parcellate the endpoints using an atlas such as FreeSurfer or DKT.

My question is:

Which specific MNI template do these built-in atlases correspond to? I want to ensure that the atlas parcellation is in the exact same template space as my data to avoid misalignment.

Thank you very much for your guidance.

Best,

Edoardo

Thank you so much, Frank, for your response and clarification.

I am currently using the dTOR-985 connectome (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41597-024-03197-0) in my analyses. The authors describe their template to be on ICBM 2009b NLIN Asymmetric. Considering the DSI Studio built-in atlases are on ICBM 2009a Asymmetric, what is the best way to proceed? Is it ok to use the built-in atlas? Or should I perform a procedure such as warping? Or is it possible to use another atlas in the same space (other than the built-in ones)?

Thank you once again,

Edoardo

It is ICBM 2009a assymetric
