FEIN new installation - This is forbidden when an 'atomic' block is active.

Hi, i am new to django and fein cms.

I am trying to configure feincms correctly, but when i try to add a new page i am getting the following error:

This is forbidden when an 'atomic' block is active.

What can be causing these issue?

Sounds like you're using the dev version of Django. I'm sure Fein has caught up with the changes in transaction management yet.

  Yes, this definitely sounds like Django post-1.5. Please use the Django 1.5 release version, we have not yet adapted to the new transaction management.

Is this resolved yet, or are we still incompatible with (the quite imminent) Django 1.6? I couldn't spot any corresponding commits or issues from a quick skim...

As far as I can tell, it's not. I've got a bit of time to work on 1.6 compatibility and have a reasonable familiarity with the transaction changes in Django. I'll update when there's a PR available.

I've committed a fix for this particular issue [1] and have also converted an internal development website to use Django@master and FeinCMS@next. Currently things are working fine, but let's wait and see.
