Request for Internship under you during May-July 2016

Respected Sir,
I am a third-year student pursuing Bachelor of Technology in the department of Biotechnology at the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, INDIA (NITW).I will be completing my third year by the end of April 2016. I have planned to undertake higher studies and go into research.
I am writing to inquire if it’s possible for me to carry out some quality work as a part of my summer research project under your guidance. I have gone through some of your work, I am interested in line with my field of interest. I would like to work under your mentorship in this or related field or would be glad even if I could assist you in any ongoing project related to my interest.
My research interests lie in Genetic-Engineering, Microbiology, Cell-Biology, Immunology. I have successfully completed courses in Genetic-Engineering, Fluid-Mechanics, Microbiology, Mass-Transfer, Bioprocess engineering, Cell-Biology, Immunology, Bioinformatics along with the corresponding laboratory skills and techniques.I have been actively involved in conferences on cancer therapy (details about which are mentioned in my curriculum vitae) etc., that build my knowledge base.
Working under your guidance would not only help me in gaining valuable research experience but would also help me get a taste of what to expect in my post graduate studies. I hope you consider taking me under your guidance for a summer research project for the period of May-July, 2016. I have attached my Curriculum Vitae with this letter for your reference but should you require more information, I would be glad to provide it. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
