Has anyone had experience purchasing 5mL EDTA tubes combined with boxes for shipping? Looking for packing to securely ship two tubes at a time in a protected fashion (samples are being taken for genome sequencing).

Thanks!

EDTA as in Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid? I haven't heard of EDTA
tubes, Falcon is a name brand of different plastic tubes and "orange
cap tube" are larger too and work in centrifuges.

Maybe these work:

5mL is a size I haven't seen much of, maybe 2.0mL or 15mL would work?

It sounds like you're trying to ship glass tubed with EDTA preservative, is that right?  Delicate glass items can simply be wrapped in bubble wrap and put into a box.  Or were you looking for more professional-lloking packing boxes?

EDTA itself is best shipped as a powder in a plastic container.

I'm also guessing you want to ship a DNA sample in some solution with EDTA added for stability. In that case use a plastic tube instead of glass. Much better for transport.

Also, a DNA sample should very rarely be 5ml, it's often a lot less (it depends on your setup though) maybe an 0.2 or 1.5ml safe-lock eppendorf tube would suffice? - that is what I use at least, and that's the kind of "gold standard" used everywhere:
