New book: Biohackers. The Politics of Open Science

Dear DIYbioers, 

I'm emerging from my lurking mode to signal that my book "Biohackers. The Politics of Open Science" is out. It is a social sciences book that focuses on the cultures of open science, and only one chapter is on DIYbio, but I hope some of you might find it interesting. 

The interviews on DIYbio were done mostly in LA and San Francisco: thanks to the Californian crowd again!

Congrats on the release of the book. Is it solely focussed on Open Science, or open design / peer production in general?

Open science only! But with a broad perspective from public institutions to DIY
