There was one Italian attending the DIYBio EU meeting in Paris last December, but I can't remember who it was. If remember correctly she was working for a science museum.

Yes indeed, she was from Torino. Here is one message she sent me explaining me her motivations to join DIYbio Europe. You can join her with this email address: Patrizia Fama' <patriz...@mtsn.tn.it>

Dear Thomas,
I’m Patrizia Famà and I work at the Science Museum of Trento in Italy, where I deal with dissemination of new frontiers and apllications in biology and life sciences .

Few months ago I’ve joined the mailing list of La Paillasse, because I would like to learn more how a DIYbio community works. The idea is to host soon in the new Museum of Trento (Italy) a laboratory for free experimentation of DIYbio, with the support and passion of some students that participated this year to the IGEM competition.

So, I’m really interested to participate to the upcoming kick-off meeting and to know people, thoughts and to establish fruitful contacts and collaborations.

Since I didn’t find information on the opening time, do you eventually know at what time the meeting begins?  It will be also a pleasure to visit the La Paillasse lab on Sunday.

Thank you,

Best regards.
